Yeager Down Under

March 20 – 25, 2007, Chuck Yeager was the Guest of Honor at the Australian International Air Show, at Avalon. Highlights of the show were the RAAF C-17 doing acrobatics (well, almost). The airshow was themed “Breaking the Barriers”, in commemoration of Chuck Yeager breaking the sound barrier in 1947. Chuck Yeager was the keynote speaker at the Breaking the Barriers Awards Presentations on Saturday night, after the air show.
