General Chuck Yeager in Oshkosh 2005-2007
General Chuck Yeager, Chairman Emeritus of the EAA Young Eagles, supports the EAA AirVenture at Oshkosh. At AirVenture 2007 (July 23-29), he spoke at the Honda Forum and flew Make-a-Wish Foundation children in the EAA Ford Tri-Motor aircraft. The Make-a-Wish Foundation volunteers arrange this exciting experience for kids who are dealing with life-threatening cancer diseases. Chuck Yeager also granted an interview to radio station WOSH, to promote the AirVenture experience and to share with the community the ideals and values that he has lived his life by.

EAA Airventure 2006 at Oshkosh
Gen. Chuck Yeager made several appearances at the EAA Airventure in Oshkosh, July 27-29, 2006. At the Gathering of Eagles Dinner on July 27, Chuck Yeager appeared with past Young Eagles Chairman Cliff Robertson and current Chairman Harrison Ford, presented in two sessions in the Honda Forum, piloted Make-a-Wish Foundation flights in the EAA Ford Tri-Motor, and he spoke at the EAA Speakers Showcase. In an unschedulded appearance, Yeager unveiled the newly commissioned Glamourous Glen III P-51D, drawing a crowd of nearly 1,000 to hear him speak at AeroShell Square (pictured above).

Oshkosh AirVenture 2005
Chuck Yeager attended the Oshkosh air show (July 25-31, 2005). Highlights of the show were the Air Force Pavillion (including a large display of Chuck Yeager memorabilia), spectacular air shows, the 20th Annual Gathering of Eagles Dinner featuring past and present Young Eagles Chairmen (including Cliff Robertson, Chuck Yeager, and Harrison Ford), The Honda Forum “Best of the Best” presentation by Chuck Yeager, Chuck Yeager piloting Make-a-Wish Foundation flights in the EAA Ford Tri-Motor, and the Chuck Yeager “Breaking the Sound Barrier” presentation in the EAA Speakers Showcase.
