Bud Anderson – Yeager: “The Best Fighter Pilot I Ever Saw”

Colonel Clarence E. “Bud” Anderson flew 116 fighter missions during WWII in his trusty P-51 named Old Crow. His 16 1/2 aerial victories made him one of America’s few triple aces. Colonel Anderson continued his military aviation career by entering the test pilot program, where he participated in several unusual flight test experiments.
